Marvel will not let DC have all the fun.  The Trailer for Justice League dropped over the weekend, and naturally we fans could not shut up about it.  That is until today when Marvel decided to drop the second trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming.  The new trailer gives us more of what the story will be about.  It looks like Pete won’t be spending a lot of time in that fancy suit of his that Tony Stark was gracious enough to provide him.  Peter disobeys a direct order from Tony and is put on time out and relieved of his suit. So Spidey goes old school with his “Do it yourself” suit, which I suspect you will be seeing more of, instead of his traditional threads.  Marvel is a well oiled machine right now so it’s no surprise that I thoroughly enjoyed that trailer.

Now one could argue that Marvel showed too much.  But at the risk of sounding biased, I believe that when we see the final product, there will be a lot more in the film that will surprise us.  Why do I think that?  Well, Marvel has a proven track record when it comes to not only delivering an entertaining product, but also in marketing said product.  I think the reason they may have showed a lot more that we thought we would get, is to show the uninitiated, just how different and integrated this new Spider-Man is in the MCU.  After all, this will be Spider-Man’s second reboot.  There’s a chance I may be wrong, and the trailer gave away the whole film.  But I got faith.  Besides, spoilers don’t bother me as much.  I can still know a plot of the movie and still enjoy it.

Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into the theaters on July 7.
