A lot of TV watching this week got me the top 5 I have compiled. From True Blood to the MTV VMA’s, this week gave me some really awesome songs to vibe to.
5. You Make Me Feel – Cobra Starship
These guys performed at the pre show for the VMA’s. It really has a nice bounce to it and the female singing isn’t too hard on the eyes.
4. Burning Down The House - The Used
The first time I heard this song was in Tranformers: Revenge Of The Fallen. It was the scene were that spanish kid and Sam were at the dorm party and he was doing that weird dance. I always notice that scene for some reason. I don’t know if it was the song or just the fact that he was dancing crazy to it. Then came True Blood Season 4 Episode 10 aptly titled Burning Down The House. The end featured the song an it had Bill, Eric, Pam, and Jessica, all dressed in black and ready to blow shit up.
3. Hey Baby – Pitbull feat. T-Pain
You know what? There is no story behind the song. Its just plain Jigtastic (yeah thats my new word baby, pass it on).
2. Who Are you, Really? – Mikky Ekko
Now this song was hard to find. I didn’t have a song title to go by. I heard this in the trailer for Showtime’s Homeland. It sounded very enchanting. It was also at the end of a Teen Wolf episode. With some very extensive google search I finally stumbled across the song. Yeah Me!!!!
1. Set Fire to the Rain – Adele
OMG!!! Rescue Me Series Finale. Please say it aint so. Did Tommy and his crew perish? I really hope thats not the case. But that teaser trailer accompanied by this song gives that impression. RIP Rescue Me.
