November is easily the biggest month of this year.  That month will see the release of two next gen consoles.  Microsoft will release X-Box One at some point in November but Sony has given both the month and the day we can get our hands on the Playstation 4.  Sony revealed at Gamescom 2013 that the beautiful day will be on November 15th in the US and Canada and November 29th in Europe.  It will launch in 32 countries and has already surpassed 1 million pre-orders worldwide.

Now here’s the kicker.  Sony unveiled an upgrade program for gamers who opt to purchase titles for the PS3 that wants to purchase the same titles for the PS4.  Gamers that purchase Battlefield 4, Assassin’s Creed IV, Call of Duty: Ghosts, or Watch Dogs on Playstation 3 will be able to buy the Playstation 4 digital version for a “significantly discounted price” when their PS4 counterpart is released.  For me, I can wait for the PS4 before I snag some of those titles.  What about you guys?  Will you be taking advantage of their upgrade program.

The Playstation 4 will be available for $499.
