Star Trek: The Video Game comes out for PS3, 360, and PC on April 23rd. A co-op shooter starring Kirk and Spock, this adventure can be tackled split-screen on the couch or online, or, for those introverts out there, single player with an A.I. companion.

So far, the game is shaping up to be solid, if unremarkable, but still managing to make great use of its license. However, that’s not what this story is about. This story is about the new ad for the game, starring none other than the greatest Starship Captain of all time, William Shatner. Apparently, his co-op partner is not much of a team player, leading to a reenactment of one of the most memorable, if slightly dated, fights in television history. Yeah, it’s probably the most awesome thing you’ll ever see, and it’ll take some effort for the game to trump this excellent ad.
